Hillary Clinton committed perjury when she lied to Congress during the Benghazi hearings

HILLARY CLINTON COMMITTED PERJURY WHEN SHE LIED TO CONGRESS DURING BENGHAZI HEARINGS

Hillary Clinton committed perjury when she lied to Congress during the Benghazi hearings, and in a last ditch effort to hold the Democratic presidential nominee accountable for something, House Republicans have provided the Justice Department with evidence they believe will be enough to charge Clinton with the crime.
If FBI director James Comey decided not to indict Hillary, it’s doubtful that the Justice Department, headed by Attorney General Loretta Lynch, will decide to press charges. After all, Lynch and the rest of her ilk have been protecting Clinton for a long while now.
The Washington Times reported on Monday that Republicans Bob Goodlatte and Jason Chaffetz are the two responsible for pushing this issue for potential criminal charges.
“Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte of Virginia and Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz of Utah said evidence the FBI collected during its investigation of Mrs. Clinton’s email practices contradicts what she herself told Congress in testimony last year.”
Mr. Comey’s comments, which he made in July, regarding Clinton’s emails also go directly against what she told Congress during that same testimony.

The report Goodlatte and Chaffetz handed over to the Justice Department focuses on four specific lies Hillary told during her time under oath on October 22, 2015.
On that day, Clinton swore that none of the emails she had handled under her private server were marked as classified, but according to Comey this is not true, as he claims there were at least three emails Clinton had either sent or received that were flagged as classified.
When asked if her lawyers had, prior to submitting them to the FBI, read every single one of her emails to establish which were business-related and which had personal content, Clinton testified that yes, they had gone through every email individually.
Fox News reported that this was also a lie.
“Clinton told Jordan that her team ‘went through every single email.’ The FBI Director said his investigators found that Clinton’s lawyers did not read all the emails, and relied on a narrow set of search terms to identify which emails were work-related.”

Congress asked Hillary if she had used only one private server, to which she replied that she had used no more than one.
Not according to James Comey.
“But the FBI Director said investigators found ‘Clinton used several different servers and administrators of those servers during her four years at the State Department and used numerous mobile devices to review and send e-mail on that personal domain.'”
The fourth lie Goodlatte and Chaffetz focused on in their report is the one in which Clinton insisted during her testimony that she had turned over every single one of her emails related to work. While she did provide investigators with 30,000 emails, the FBI revealed that there were as many as “several thousand” business-related emails that Hillary failed to provide to investigators.

If you look at Clinton’s testimony, which is widely available to the general public, compared to what Comey has uncovered and divulged to Americans, there is no doubt she lied, and when she lied to Congress under sworn testimony, she committed a crime.
A former FBI agent told Fox News that cases of perjury are “generally straightforward” when investigated by the bureau.
“‘They look at the transcript of the testimony they provided in light of what they know to be, suspect to be the truth. They investigate both sides and take the aggregate and turn it over to the prosecuting authority for a decision,’ Steven Pomerantz said.”
The punishment for people who are found guilty of perjury can be monetary penalty, prison time, or in some cases both of these.
If Clinton is charged with the crime of lying under oath, she’ll almost certainly get less than a slap on the wrist, if the lax treatment by the FBI is any indication of her position in relation to the law.Hillary Clinton did commit perjury to Congress during the Benghazi hearing. It’s plain to see, whether you watch a video of her testimony and James Comey’s statements, or you read news articles like this one detailing her words versus Comey’s words.
There is no mistaking the reality of this situation; however, the problem lies with her supporters, because they seem to be okay with her lies and her crimes.
How can you possibly trust someone who can break the law as many times as Hillary has and get away with it every single time? If she continues to not have to be held accountable for her wrongdoings, why on earth would she stop committing them?
